Bathroom Inspiration

Clean, simple and modern. I am still deciding about the light fixtures. I am trying to keep things simple and neutral. Things that I can be happy with, but can upgrade down the road, instead of splurging now. I think the bathroom will be the most dramatic before and after.

List for the bathroom:

-Rip out the existing vanity and shelving

-Install new vanity, mirror, lights, ceiling light

-Install new flooring

-Install new toilet

-Possibly install subway tile on the wall of the vanity, and the tub surround

Kitchen Inspiration

drawing

White, Clean, Modern meets Italian bakery.

I want¬†to incorporate¬†some warm wood tones to soften the space, and a colorful rug to give it some color as well. I cannot wait to have space on the counters. Our current kitchen feels so small and full. There is a walk in pantry off of the kitchen. It is a blank space and I’m so excited to have a pantry!

List for the kitchen:

-Paint the whole interior white

-Install Subway tile, and keep the countertops

-Paint the cabinets white (they are currently in good condition, I would love new cabinets, but unfortunately it is not in our budget, and I am happy with keeping them)

-Install white floating open shelves

-Install new light fixture above the sink, and install vintage ceiling light (we currently have this, I’m not sure if it will fit in the space, but we’ll see)

-Rug is from rugsusa

-And of course incorporating plants, my favorite thing to do.

-Eventually I want to get an island with two bar stools, but that is down the road. My eye is on this guy from ikea:Kitchen Island

-Eventually replace the appliances, but they work just fine for now.

-Install wood floor throughout the whole house to make things uniform (not now, someday)
